Former England defender Micah Richards believes Arsenal will be in a similar state of panic following Manchester City’s win over Crystal Palace last time out.
City scored a winner from Erling Haaland’s penalty spot to secure a 1-0 win, narrowing the gap to Arsenal to two points before Mikel Arteta’s side travel to Fulhe. On Sunday, Richards believes City’s three points would scare Arsenal’s players, pointing out the Navy’s experience is superior in the title race.
Speaking about Pep Guardiola’s side after their win over Palace, Richards said: “Man City weren’t at their best. But they managed to win the game ufabet.”
“If I could go back in time to the time of winning the championship You’ll be watching other games, Arsenal will be watching that game tonight, City didn’t play great. But still collecting three points from the penalty spot at the end That can be demoralizing sometimes.”
“Our title race is against Manchester United and the psychological battle that goes around in your head is really difficult, what Man City have that Arsenal don’t have is the experience of being in the Premier League. Spot that and do it. They know what level they are and how far they can go.”
“Arsenal don’t have that at the moment. I think Arsenal have won the title this season because of fresh thinking and passion, but Man City might have a psychological advantage. So it depends on whether Arsenal can focus on what they need to do. They are in good form too. So it was quite interesting.”
